Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)

About the Role

We are looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our People Team and drive end-to-end employee lifecycle management in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner to employees and managers while ensuring smooth execution of HR operations, engagement initiatives, and people processes. This role requires strong ownership, operational excellence, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all people-related matters.
  • Drive regular employee connects including 1:1s, onboarding check-ins, resignation discussions, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and manage HR data across HRMS platforms and offline trackers with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate and present basic HR insights such as attrition trends, headcount reports, and employee NPS metrics.
  • Manage key HR processes including probation closures, internship conversions, and exit management.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, events, and culture initiatives while coordinating budgets and approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with Admin, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Payroll teams to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Utilize Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts) and AI productivity tools to improve reporting and operational efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience as an HRBP in FinTech, HRTech, or startup environments.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR operations.
  • Experience independently handling employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and reporting dashboards.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for productivity and workflow optimization.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in high-ownership and fast-paced environments.
