The Role
We’re looking for a Senior SDET who goes beyond traditional testing. Someone who thinks like an engineer, understands how systems work, and is passionate about building quality into every stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify risks early, build scalable automation, strengthen our testing practices, and help us ship reliable, high-quality software with confidence.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze requirements, technical designs, and architecture to identify potential risks and provide early quality feedback.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable UI and API automation frameworks.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
  • Work closely with developers and product teams to embed testing and quality practices early in the development lifecycle.
  • Perform API, backend, and database validation to ensure systems are reliable and behave as expected.
  • Identify, investigate, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enable faster, reliable feedback for engineering teams.
  • Define and track meaningful quality metrics such as test coverage, defect leakage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.
  • Identify quality gaps, flaky tests, bottlenecks, and process improvements, and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives where applicable.
  • Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and promote strong automation and quality engineering practices.
  • Stay curious about emerging testing tools, technologies, and industry practices and bring relevant ideas to the team.

What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles with a strong focus on automation.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more of C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha.
  • Practical experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST clients.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, and backend testing.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, including white-box and black-box testing.
  • Exposure to performance and/or security testing is an added advantage.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • We’re looking for someone who thinks like an engineer, not just a tester.
  • Someone who enjoys understanding systems and finding what could go wrong before it reaches the customer.
  • You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, take ownership of quality from requirement to release, and be comfortable challenging assumptions and asking the right questions.
  • You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, and other stakeholders, so strong communication and collaboration are important.
  • Most importantly, you should believe that quality is a shared engineering responsibility and enjoy finding smarter ways to build and test software.

Education
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
